Jolena put one D and two A’s in her bonus puzzle. She started talking it out and

until the solution spilled out. Jolena picked up the keys to an electric BMW i3 worth $47,745, in addition to the $21,200 she already won. Fantastic!

Naila got three A’s out of her letter choices. She did her best to talk it out and eventually figured out the last word but

and there wasn’t enough left to get that second word. Another BMW was on the card.

Dan only got one C out of his letters and that went in the first word. He already had a good idea on the last word. That’s why he didn’t pick any letters that would complete it. Nicely played but there are times when it would be

to mentally try the 25th letter of the alphabet as the missing last letter and that’s what did it for me! Unfortunately, Dan tried an H and a K and ran out the clock. Another BMW was lost.
Thu 9-17-20: $67,195
On Jeopardy: $20,300
Sandra added two P’s, one Y and one A to the puzzle. That completely filled in the last two words. At that point, failure was

“There can’t be another BMW on that card,” sez I. But there was so Sandra got to add the $47,745 value of that to her $19,450, more than tripling her winnings. Way to go!
Fri 9-18-20: $17,001
On Jeopardy: $19,801
Liana didn’t get any of her consonants but she got an O. That helped her with the first word but she couldn’t

the last word. A fifth BMW didn’t turn up this time. It was $45,000 on the card. Actually, that’s $2,745 less than the BMW is worth.
