Wheel of Fortune: America’s Game Week of 5/28/18

It’s Wheel of Fortune, America’s Game, and we’re posting the Bonus Puzzle with the winner’s final prize amount. By way of comparison, the Jeopardy! payoff is also included with a link to the recap of that game.

Mon 5-28-18 Wheel: $23,350
On Jeopardy: $15,999
Temy and Lenny on Wheel of Fortune (5-28-2018)
Temy and Lenny filled in one G, one C and one A but that didn’t even give them a starting place to sound it out. The letter that would have really helped them out is just not a frequent choice, ‘k’now what I mean? They lost out on a pair of MINI Coopers.

Tue 5-29-18 Wheel: $45,217
On Jeopardy: $25,000
Rachelle on Wheel of Fortune (5-29-2018)
Rachelle got 3 G’s, one F and one A. Judging by her letter choices, she had a good grasp on the first 3 words already. It didn’t take her long to zero in on that last word either. Rachelle won a Toyota Highlander SUV worth $34,567 to cap off her $10,650 winnings from the main game.

Wed 5-30-18 Wheel: $24,250
On Jeopardy: $27,500
Blake on Wheel of Fortune (5-30-2018)
Blake added a D and 2 A’s to this puzzle, letters he knew were in there for sure. Then he piped right up with what he and everyone else thought the answer was. “No, no, no!” hollered Pat Sajak, like it was some kind of surprise that even happened. The time was half over by then and Blake really didn’t have a chance to pull it off. I bet the puzzle people thought that was really clever but it was just mean! Blake lost out on a Ford Escape.

Thu 5-31-18 Wheel: $49,650
On Jeopardy: $9,800
Dennise on Wheel of Fortune (5-31-2018)
Dennise added one G and 2 O’s to this puzzle and the solution came to her at the last second. She did start talking before the buzzer went off but they had to check on it all the same. Dennise got the thumbs up and an extra $35,000 to go with her $14,650 from the main game.

Fri 6-1-18 Wheel: $29,560
On Jeopardy: $23,201
Anne on Wheel of Fortune (6-1-2018)
Anne didn’t get even one addition from her letter choices but she still managed to nail the first word right away. Sadly, the last word was beyond her grasp (and ours) so she lost out on an extra $35,000. Happily, she had a nice haul from the main game to console herself with.
