Note on the Jeopardy! score: This was the quarter-final week in the Jeopardy! 2017 Teachers Tournament. Regardless of the final score, what the winner actually got was a spot in the semi-finals and a chance at the finals or a guaranteed win of $10K.

Mon 5-8-17 Wheel: $11,350 + $0 On Jeopardy: $15,800

Kris Green got an M out of her letter picks and that just wasn’t much of a help to her. She missed out on winning an extra $34K.

Tue 5-9-17 Wheel: $26,950 + $34,000 On Jeopardy: $26,650

Carrie Tarzia filled in two Ks, one C and one O and she solved the puzzle faster than the time it took her to pick those letters! Result: A $60,950 payday.

Wed 5-10-17 Wheel: $16,800 + $30,015 (car) On Jeopardy: $10,800

Corrie Calesa’s lucky letters in her choices were P and O. That gave her everything she needed to win a MINI Cooper. Total haul: $46,815.

Thu 5-11-17 Wheel: $13,678 + $0 On Jeopardy: $22,801

Amanda Peters got one H and one O from her letter picks but that didn’t help at all. That sure was a tough one and it really made it worse when she tried Athens as the last word. She missed out on an extra $34K.

Fri 5-12-17 Wheel: $27,220 + $0 On Jeopardy: $19,000

Megan Perkins filled in one M and two O’s with her choices. She couldn’t get off the ground with this one so another $34K was left behind.
