Barbara got a P, a B and an O out of her letters and each one started a different word.

was that Barbara entirely missed that and thought the last word ended with O. That killed any chance she had at the $39K bonus prize.

Wed 4-6: $60,800
On Jeopardy: $38,801

Kevin put a G, an H and an O in his bonus puzzle and that completely

in. Sometimes a little word like that can make a big difference and this was one of those times. Kevin solved the puzzle and won an extra $39,000.

Thu 4-7: $23,050
On Jeopardy: $9,599

Kristine only got a lonely G out of her letters. She and Pat laughed as they both knew her chances

Pat did congratulate Kristine on getting the second word right with the help of the lonely G. He said that was a triumph in itself. Unfortunately, he could not give her the $39,000 bonus prize.

Fri 4-8: $49,739
On Jeopardy: $24,200

Calvin didn’t get any help from the letters he selected. The pattern of the letters in the second word looked promising. The third word? Not so much. Ordinarily,

but Calvin managed to talk it out and, as a result, he’ll be tooling around town in a brand new Mazda CX-5 worth $36,170.
