Wheel of Fortune: College Week Spring Break 2018

It’s Wheel of Fortune, College Week Spring Break, and we’re posting the Bonus Puzzle with the winner’s final prize amount. By way of comparison, the Jeopardy! payoff is also included with a link to the recap of that game.

Mon 4-2-18 Wheel: $20,201
On Jeopardy: $25,600
Kathleen Capella on Wheel of Fortune (4-2-2018)
Kathleen Capella added a D to her puzzle and that was it for her letter choices. It was in a position that gave her the first word but time ran out before she could get the last one. She missed out on a Ford Focus.

Tue 4-3-18 Wheel: $60,800
On Jeopardy: $30,401
Elliott Byrd on Wheel of Fortune (4-3-2018)
Elliott Byrd got 3 F’s and 2 A’s from his letters and those turned out to be great choices. We got our first win of the week and Elliott got $35,000 to add to the $25,800 he won in the main game. Great payday!

Wed 4-4-18 Wheel: $9,900
On Jeopardy: $16,401
Keely Prosser on Wheel of Fortune (4-4-2018)
Keely Prosser didn’t get any help at all from her letter choices. That left her in a bit of a pickle and when her time ran out, she learned that a different set of letters might have led to an extra $35,000.

Thu 4-5-18 Wheel: $52,179
On Jeopardy: $36,399
Mansour Chaya on Wheel of Fortune (4-5-2018)
Mansour Chaya got a G, an H and two I’s from the 4 letters he chose. He zeroed right in on the solution and picked up an extra $35,000 to go with that $17,179 he racked up in the main game.

Fri 4-6-18 Wheel: $33,190
On Jeopardy: $8,595
Kyle Curtis on Wheel of Fortune (4-6-2018)
Kyle Curtis put one H and two A’s into the mix and as soon as the clock started, he came out with the right first word. We’re sure some viewers, besides us, thought he had that. Alas, after 2 attempts with that word, he changed it so the rest of his guesses couldn’t work! He didn’t pocket the extra $45,000 but still had a very respectable win.
