WHO IS HORATIO NELSON?
Admiral Cuthbert Collingwood evidently got annoyed at his good friend, Admiral Nelson, for stating what was, to him, the obvious. At the Battle of Trafalgar, Nelson pronounced “England expects that every man will do his duty.” We loved how Alex mentioned Nelson’s statement — as if it should be common knowledge, but if it was, the question should have been “He said England expects” etc. They certainly didn’t expect anyone to know who did the wishing. Indeed, Collingwood is referred to in a BBC article as a Forgotten Hero.
