Wheel of Fortune, Week of 6-7-2021
It’s Wheel of Fortune, America’s Game and we’re posting the Bonus Puzzle with the winner’s final prize amount. By way of comparison, the Jeopardy! payoff is also included with a link to the recap of that game.
Theme: Father’s Day
Mon 6-7-21: $39,800
On Jeopardy: $17,500
Peyman only put an M in his 3-word bonus puzzle, and that went at the very end of the last word. There was nowhere to begin talking it out
B E _ I _ _ A _ K I _ _ I _ O U _
and there were no keys to a Mercedes either. But Peyman still made quite a bundle in the main game, more than most people make even when they get the bonus round.
Tue 6-8-21: $19,450
On Jeopardy: $14,400
Troy got 2 A’s out of his letter and that was it. Even if he had a couple of B’s, it
_ A S _ U I T _ A C H A _ _ _ N G _
with nothing in the first word. Troy missed out on an extra $45,000.
Wed 6-9-21: $69,680
On Jeopardy: $27,600
Rob got one or more of the letter he selected. It took him a few extra seconds
_ F _ W _ X T R _ _ E C _ N D _
to get that first word but he did it with time to spare. Rob capped off his winnings with $38,000 more.
Thu 6-10-21: $23,350
On Jeopardy: $13,600
Matt put 2 G’s and one O into his bonus puzzle. On the strength of those G’s, I was so sure he would soon be
R O _ _ I _ G I _ T H _ D O _ _ H
while Matt seemed sure the first word ended in I-N-G. Unfortunately, it did not and the $50,000 on the card went uncollected.
Fri 6-11-21: $72,400
On Jeopardy: $7,999
Mark scored an M, a K and two O’s from his letters. That’s a lot for a 2-word puzzle and it enabled Mark to solve it straight
O U _ O _ _ H _ _ A _ E
Mark won a Mercedes-Benz C300 worth $42,850 in addition to the $28,550 he already won. That wraps up Season 38 in a very nice way.
