Pat didn’t get any help whatsoever from the letters she chose. It looked like she also forgot the category,

Oh well, with no help, anyone would have had a tough time with that one! We ended last week with a lost vehicle, and we started this week with another one– only this time it was a Ford Edge.

Tue 5-17: $28,400
On Jeopardy: $27,000

Erika only got an A out of her letters. That was actually the first word and, given the category, she didn’t really need to

alternative. Erika figured out the second word but she had no such luck with the last one. Pat had a $39,000 card.

Wed 5-18: $28,050
On Jeopardy: $16,600

Rodman put a C, a B and an A in his puzzle. That told him the last word but he only had the A in the first word. Pat still thought things were looking good. Sometimes, however, you wonder if you can

on this show. Rodman tried to solve the puzzle by starting the first word with C and then B, the letters already used in the second word. That’s just not what Pat means by used letter board! It was a hard puzzle anyway but whatever “fighting chance” Pat thought Rodman had was lost and so was the $39,000 bonus prize.

Thu 5-19: $54,450
On Jeopardy: $19,201

Amy’s expression said she had an inkling of what her bonus puzzle event was. The letters she chose yielded one V, one M and two A’s and when they were turned over,

as to whether Amy would be picking up the bonus prize. After a quick solve, Amy was delighted to find out she was adding $39,000 to the $15,450 she won in the main game.

Fri 5-20: $65,505
On Jeopardy: $26,000

Kevin was presented with a 2-word puzzle that only had an S showing at the end of the second word because the category was plural. 🙄 That actually made what followed

Kevin added two H’s, a Y and a P to the lonely S and he worked it out word by word. Thankfully, he remembered to repeat it as a phrase. That earned him a brand new Ford Edge worth $43,065.
