Wheel of Fortune, Week of 4-5-2021
It’s Wheel of Fortune, America’s Game and we’re posting the Bonus Puzzle with the winner’s final prize amount. By way of comparison, the Jeopardy! payoff is also included with a link to the recap of that game.
Theme: College Week Spring Break
Mon 4-5-21: $28,400
On Jeopardy: $24,401
Razel got a P and an O in her first word. That might not have been enough but she also got a D in the second word. And that
C _ R _ _ I N L Y _ I P P _ D _ H _ S C _ L _
in her favor. She solved it right away and won a MINI Cooper worth $34,750 and that was a great start to the week.
Tue 4-6-21: $61,760
On Jeopardy: $24,401
Emma only got one C from her letters, but she knew what went well with that last word
W I _ _ O U _ _ N Y _ X _ R _ _ _ L P
at all. Emma won an extra $45,000. It’s sure nice to see the college kids clean up!
Wed 4-7-21: $26,000
On Jeopardy: $22,401
Ruthie put one M and two C’s in her two word bonus puzzle. We’ve seen plenty of players get hung up with a false start and
_ T _ S _ L W _ Y S T _ U G _
to watch, especially when the solution is obvious to us! Ruthie missed out on the $45,000 on the card.
Thu 4-8-21: $60,540
On Jeopardy: $6,799
Chloe takes the prize for Best Letter Picker in a Long Time. Her selections spelled out the solution, leaving only 3 blanks in a 4-word puzzle. At that point, Pat thought it was a puzzle
H I _ _ O G C O U _ _ _ O _ V E
It may have been better to just compliment Chloe on her outstanding choices! Chloe’s bonus prize was $38,000.
Fri 4-9-21: $34,300
On Jeopardy: $25,900
Christian put an H and two I’s in his puzzle and Pat thought it was challenging. Not for people
_ H O E A _ _ H A _ S _ U _ _ ,
it wasn’t, but Christian apparently isn’t among that segment of the population. He couldn’t get a handle on it and lost out on $38,000.
