Dean’s letter choices only yielded one P and although it started the first word, you could see

It was more than the usual disappointment when a $45,000 card was revealed but what can you do? That was a toughie!

On Jeopardy: $26,000

Kelly got two M’s, one D and two I’s from her letters. Those M’s gave her the first word which might otherwise have been challenging. To her credit, she was able to figure out the second word. Alas, by then,

to come up with the last item. She lost out on an extra $36,000.

Dave added one G and one I to his puzzle. It’s a big bummer when any other vowel than

would have helped more. It wasn’t really funny that Dave lost out on $100,000 but it was a riot how Pat kept opening and closing the card to get the audience to groan until he dropped it!

Fri 4-5-19 $28,500
On Jeopardy: $38,926

Danielle had a Wild Card and got an extra consonant but she only got one G out of her choices. It was the first letter of the first word. All she had in the last word was the last letter so a solve was not happening.

Pat had a $100,000 card for the second night in a row. This time, when he kept opening and closing it, the audience said “whoooo!” So Danielle got a good laugh out of the whole thing and so did we.
