Wheel of Fortune, Week of 3-7-2022
It’s Wheel of Fortune, America’s Game and we’re posting the Bonus Puzzle with the winner’s final prize amount. By way of comparison, the Jeopardy! payoff is also included with a link to the recap of that game.
Season 39
Mon 3-7: $47,915
On Jeopardy: $2,200
Josh put two D’s and two A’s in the bonus puzzle and that turned out to be just
W _ A _ 🟪 _ _ E 🟪 _ O C _ O _ 🟪 O _ _ E _ E _
Whether he was hoping to win that Nissan Rogue worth $30,045 or not, he sure was happy when Pat turned the bonus card over.
Tue 3-8: $65,430
On Jeopardy: $18,800
Emily got an M and four I’s out of the letters she picked. If she could have only picked one letter and she picked that I vowel, it would have
_ O R _ E _ 🟪 J _ _ T 🟪 A _ 🟪 _ E _ _
Emily bumped her winnings up quite a bit with an extra $39,000.
Wed 3-9: $24,150
On Jeopardy: $18,000
Jenny got a B, an F and three 0’s from her letters. Pat idly wondered if the last word was going
T _ 🟪 _ R _ S _ N T 🟪 A 🟪 _ R _ B _ _ M
It did and, as a result, Jenny couldn’t get the keys to a new Nissan Rogue.
Thu 3-10: $24,150
On Jeopardy: $19,200
Laneisha put a D and a C in her puzzle. Over the last few days, I think there has
_ _ F _ N _ T _ L Y 🟪 B _ _ N 🟪 _ 🟪 P _ T T _ R _
going on with those vowels. We don’t always see 3 or 4 of the same vowel in the bonus puzzle du jour. Laneisha did not pick the repetitive vowel and although she certainly knew it was in the conjunction, she did not try to imagine it was in any other word. Laneisha lost out on the $39,000 bonus prize.
Fri 3-11: $60,553
On Jeopardy: $8,900
Diana added 2 M’s and one A to her 2-word bonus puzzle that only came with one T. Specifically, the second 5-letter word of the puzzle began with a T. Diana was not
_ N _ _ M _ D _ _ E D 🟪 _ N 🟪 _ H E 🟪 L E _ S _
by what she had to work with. She knocked it out of the park right off the bat and picked up an extra $39,000.
