Maria put one D and one C into her bonus puzzle and the result was fairly typical. She knew one word but was

as to the other. That $38,000 bonus prize would have doubled her winnings, but it didn’t.

Wed 3-31-21: $35,750
On Jeopardy: $17,199

Danielle got one or more of each letter she chose. When the first word proved her undoing, Pat gave his
_ N _ L Y _ I _ O _ T _ E I _ _ U E
believing that one missing vowel in the first word threw her off. I think she would have had a shot if she didn’t waste two seconds saying the last word out loud and tried the trusty Y at the end of the first word. Whichever it was, the cost was $45,000. As nice as that would have been, Danielle had a great payday from the main game.

Kevin got an H in the first word and an O in the second. He couldn’t get a toehold on the first word so

he wasn’t going to get to the second. Tough break, because the second might have come to him instantly if he got the first! By way of consolation, Pat ruefully opined that a C would have helped Kevin win the $38,000 on the bonus card.

Tahirah put one A and one C into this puzzle with 2 short words in it. Nevertheless, that was simply not enough

unless she looked at Pat, who is the epitome of the solution. 🤣🤣🤣 Tahirah didn’t win a Volkswagen Atlas. She had a sweet payday all the same.
