Theme: College Week Spring Break
Mon 3-16-20 $47,186
On Jeopardy: $25,874
Dana got a 2-word puzzle where the last word was already obvious so she chose letters she thought might go into the first word. She was right with one A and one G, but neither
O _ E _ A S _ H E _ E _
to unlocking the first word. Dana lost out on a Mazda. The good news is she really cleaned up in the main game!
Tue 3-17-20 $65,930
On Jeopardy: $16,601
Christian picked some unusual letters and you may have thought at least two of them would go to waste. However, ALL of them were in his little 2-word puzzle.
H O _ _ N _ R E D _ _ L E _ A S _ H A _ ?
Christian solved it right away and picked up $37,000 to add to his $28,930 from the main game.
Wed 3-18-20 $19,750
On Jeopardy: $19,201
Noah only got one O from his letters. Usually, that is no help at all and
_ H I _ W A _ N _ E _ C E _ _ I _ N.
Noah couldn’t get anywhere with it in 10 seconds and he won’t be going anywhere in a new Mazda unless he buys one.
Thu 3-19-20 $21,250
On Jeopardy: $21,250
Tim added a P, a D and an A to his bonus puzzle. It looked do-able, but he fell into what we might call
_ H E W _ _ N G L E _ _ E _ L _ _ P,
a frustrating occurrence that can lead to the loss of $37,000. In the case of this puzzle, it did.
Fri 3-20-20 $12,280
On Jeopardy: $7,000
Amanda got one P, two G’s and one I from the letters she chose. The first word turned out
_ O _ E _ H E O _ S _ A _ L E
that prevented a solve. That was sort of like yesterday when Tim was trying to put a “T” in the puzzle. Amanda put two L’s in her first word, letters that would have been turned over already. She missed out on another $37,000.
