Wheel of Fortune, Week of 3-14-2022

It’s Wheel of Fortune, America’s Game and we’re posting the Bonus Puzzle with the winner’s final prize amount. By way of comparison, the Jeopardy! payoff is also included with a link to the recap of that game.

Season 39

Mon 3-14: $33,198
On Jeopardy: $16,100
Nicole on Wheel of Fortune (3-14-22)
Nicole added two G’s and two O’s to her bonus puzzle that only came with one T. She was
H _ V _ N _ πŸŸͺ _ πŸŸͺ _ O U _ H πŸŸͺ _ _ M E
with the first word in the puzzle, although she knew the rest of it. Well, who can blame her? The fact is most people think of the first two words as a recreational activity. The lost bonus prize was a MINI Cooper.

Tue 3-15: $26,405
On Jeopardy: $38,000
Chris on Wheel of Fortune (3-15-22)
Chris got a D, a P and an O out of his letters. He had the right food in the
_ L I _ K πŸŸͺ _ F πŸŸͺ A _ πŸŸͺ _ Y _
but he struggled with the first word until his time ran out. Chris couldn’t collect that $39,000 bonus prize.

Wed 3-16: $17,450
On Jeopardy: $17,201
Crystal on Wheel of Fortune (3-16-22)
Crystal got a D and an I from her regular letters, and a C from her Wild Card. She started the first word with the wrong letter and that
_ H O I _ E πŸŸͺ S _ U _ _ L E D πŸŸͺ _ _ E πŸŸͺ _ _ A N _ E S
of success right out of the gate. We haven’t seen that scenario in a while but we just saw the same results on Tuesday — no $39,000!

Thu 3-17: $13,200
On Jeopardy: $19,601
Tiffany on Wheel of Fortune (3-17-22)
Tiffany only got one O and no consonants from her letters. She thought the first word was “earth” despite the “R”, so she wasn’t going to solve it in 10 seconds. Regardless, it was a difficult puzzle and if Tiffany didn’t
_ _ I N _ πŸŸͺ W _ A _ πŸŸͺ _ _ E πŸŸͺ _ E C _
when the solution was revealed, I thought it for her. The bonus card was worth $45,000.

Fri 3-18: $40,197
On Jeopardy: $20,001
Cherain on Wheel of Fortune (3-18-22)
Cherain put letters she was already certain of in the first word, namely the I and the G ending. She got one C in the second word and there was another I in there, too. None of it was much help in
_ _ I N _ I N G πŸŸͺ _ U _ πŸŸͺ _ H E πŸŸͺ _ A _ H
to success. Cherain lost out on an extra $39,000, but she had already won over $40K, a feat few can match.
