It’s Wheel of Fortune, America’s Game, and we’re posting the Bonus Puzzle with the winner’s final prize amount. By way of comparison, the Jeopardy! payoff is also included with a link to the recap of that game.

Mon 3-12-18 Wheel: $11,750
On Jeopardy: $29,000

Brandon and Emma got an H and 2 D’s out of their letter choices. That filled in the first word very nicely, but they got no help with the last word and that was a hurdle they could not get over in 10 seconds. The card held an uncollectible $35,000.

Tue 3-13-18 Wheel: $31,150
On Jeopardy: $19,201

John only got one letter out of his picks and it was the letter O. You had to feel a little bad for him because he started his consonants just one letter too late, but not too bad– an extra $35K would have nice, but he still scored with a great payday in the main game.

Wed 3-14-18 Wheel: $13,050
On Jeopardy: $27,400

Courtney Oehlert got one C and one D added to her bonus puzzle so she was looking at 4 filled in spots and 11 empty ones. She still got the first word but was probably so stunned that her first guess on the second wasn’t right that she forgot the category and that her vowel choice didn’t pan out. She lost out on a Ford Focus.

Thu 3-15-18 Wheel: $17,400
On Jeopardy: $23,600

Megan Horne got nada from her letter choices. Without much to work on, she lost out on a Jeep Compass. That was one tough puzzle and Pat said there might have been an investigation if she got it.

Fri 3-16-18 Wheel: $12,110
On Jeopardy: $12,399

None of Shannon Gadd’s letter picks were in the bonus puzzle so that was a bit of déjà vu with what happened with Megan on Thursday. Shannon couldn’t get a toehold on this one like she could when she came up with Denver Broncos with just 2 letters on the very first puzzle that she solved.

They were celebrating Denver so she correctly surmised it would be part of the proper name. There was no such help with this puzzle, though, and it was a bigger bummer that the rare $100,000 was on her card. “Rats!”, said Pat.
