Mark put one C and two I’s in the bonus puzzle. That didn’t look like much help but, somehow, it was

Mark. He reeled off the correct solution right away. Even more incredible, the bonus prize was $100,000 for the second day in a row! Congratulations, Mark!

Bree only got one A from her letters. Just one, not two or three. Pat was skeptical about that and he also quipped that if the bonus card was worth $100,000, he would leave and

I don’t know what was more peculiar: the fact that Bree solved the puzzle immediately on the strength of that one measly A or that, for the third day in a row, the bonus prize was $100,000. Whatever! Congratulations, Bree!

Donna put two P’s and three A’s in her bonus puzzle. That gave her a good start for sure, but she did not

being up there. She did come up with “banquet,” another word that fit in there and that was a nice try. It just wasn’t what was needed to pick up the keys to a new Ford Edge.

Melanie got one P and one G from her letters. With that help, she was able to figure out the first half of the puzzle but

escaped her. Another letter or a few more seconds and she might have won that extra $39,000.
