Wheel of Fortune, Week of 2-28-2022

It’s Wheel of Fortune, America’s Game and we’re posting the Bonus Puzzle with the winner’s final prize amount. By way of comparison, the Jeopardy! payoff is also included with a link to the recap of that game.

Season 39

Mon 2-28-22: $66,000
On Jeopardy: $14,001
Shelby on Wheel of Fortune (2-28-22)
Shelby dropped 3 letters into the bonus puzzle: an O and a D in the first word; and a P at the end of the second word. Shelby knew
_ H _ T 🟪 S _ E 🟪 _ _ S 🟪 L _ _ K _ N G 🟪 _ T
before the timer started. That netted her an extra $39,000 to add to the $27,000 she won in the main game.

Tue 3-1-22: $18,514
On Jeopardy: $16,600
Christopher on Wheel of Fortune (3-1-22)
Christopher got two G’s, one B and one I out of the letter he chose. That resulted in
_ 🟪 _ _ T H E _ 🟪 F _ M I L I _ _ 🟪 S _ E N _ _ I O :
The first word came easily, the second word didn’t come at all and Pat was holding a $39,000 bonus card.

Wed 3-2-22: $17,500
On Jeopardy: $24,400
Matthew on Wheel of Fortune (3-2-22)
Matthew put an A, an M and a G in his bonus puzzle. All 3 letters went in the first word. With that, he was able to solve two-thirds of the puzzle but not
_ 🟪 _ I N G _ _ 🟪 _ O _ I T _ _ Y 🟪 _ _ T T _ _
did he have to help him with that last word. Pat felt terrible when he had to show Matthew a $100,000 card and said he needed another letter. Perhaps, and perhaps the show ought to have the bonus wheel checked out or pretty soon we’ll be seeing those $100K cards as often as the $39K ones!

Thu 3-3-22: $67,301
On Jeopardy: $24,400
Toni on Wheel of Fortune (3-3-22)
Toni got lucky when she picked the letter F. It was the first letter of two words! On top of that, she got 3 A’s, all in different words. Toni may have
_ A D 🟪 A 🟪 D _ C _ _ T 🟪 C _ A _ C _
without those A’s. With them, it was a slam dunk. The icing on the cake was that $45,000 card Pat was holding.

Fri 3-4: $23,524
On Jeopardy: $21,500
George on Wheel of Fortune (3-4-22)
George scored two G’s and three O’s from the letters he chose. Those additions were very helpful with the last two words.
G _ _ R G _ 🟪 N _ _ D _ D 🟪 N _ 🟪 H _ L _
with the first word but the second word was George’s downfall. It cost him an extra $39,000.
