Wheel of Fortune: European Vacation 2018

It’s Wheel of Fortune, European Vacation Week and we’re posting the Bonus Puzzle with the winner’s final prize amount. By way of comparison, the Jeopardy! payoff is also included with a link to the recap of that game.

Mon 11-26-18 Wheel: $67,600
On Jeopardy: $9,199
Heather on Wheel of Fortune (11-26-2018)
Heather got one of each consonant and two 0’s and the only thing left to do was tell Pat the answer. She got an extra $36,000 to add to her $31,600.
_ H _ T _ B O _ _ _ Z _ !

Tue 11-27-18 Wheel: $44,338
On Jeopardy: $16,399
Rick on Wheel of Fortune (11-27-2018)
Rick got one P and one A from the letters he chose. He figured out the first word but he was
S _ I _ _ I _ _ H E _ A R _
on the last one when time ran out. An Alfa Romeo Stelvio would have been nice, but Rick still won more than a lot of players who solve the bonus puzzle. His Wheel experience was far from dim.

Wed 11-28-18 Wheel: $23,998
On Jeopardy: $30,401
Leslie on Wheel of Fortune (11-28-2018)
Leslie got two C’s and one A but an abundance of blanks remained up there. The only word she knew for sure was
_ H _ O _ _ I _ _ H _ M I _ _ L _
That conjunction wasn’t going to help her win the extra $36,000.

Thu 11-29-18 Wheel: $28,198
On Jeopardy: $5,200
Kristin on Wheel of Fortune (11-29-2018)
Kristin got 2 of her consonants, a G and a C. With no starting letters, she couldn’t get a toehold on it and
_ H E B _ _ _ L E W _ _ L O _ _
She missed out on one of those Alpha Romeo Stelvios. Ah, well, they’re still getting nice paydays over here this week, the kind that make Alex Trebek proud!

Fri 11-30-18 Wheel: $24,198
On Jeopardy: $4,799
Immani on Wheel of Fortune (11-30-2018)
Immani got one B from her consonants and two I’s on the vowel side. The second word was a cinch to figure out but the first was
_ B _ _ _ O _ E _ _ F F _ C U L _
to get within the time limit. The prize on the card was $36,000.
