Wheel of Fortune, Week of 1-25-2021
It’s Wheel of Fortune, America’s Game and we’re posting the Bonus Puzzle with the winner’s final prize amount. By way of comparison, the Jeopardy! payoff is also included with a link to the recap of that game.
Theme: Winter Break
Mon 1-25-21: $55,600
On Jeopardy: $28,401
Sarah got an H, an M and 3 O’s. It was really nice to see
A S _ R A _ E G I _ V _ W E _ _ H _ I _ E
result in a quick solution. Sarah won $38,000 on top of the $17,600 she picked up in the main game.
Tue 1-26-21: $61,450
On Jeopardy: $30,801
April put 2 P’s and one G in the bonus puzzle. Those P’s were certainly pivotal in
M _ K _ N G T H _ _ _ C T _ V _ T Y O _ V _ O U _
April quickly figured it out and capped off her $23,450 winnings with an additional $38,000.
Wed 1-27-21: $59,105
On Jeopardy: $16,600
Anjali got one G, one C and one I from the letters she chose. I can’t figure out
W H _ _ _ H _ _ R O _ L _ M W _ S
but it looked like Anjali got it right away, yet the clock kept running. Maybe it was a pronunciation issue although it sounded right to me the first time. Anjali won a Jeep Wrangler worth $43,555 on top of the $15,550 from the main game.
Thu 1-28-21: $20,820
On Jeopardy: $25,201
Jesse put a C and a G into this two-word bonus puzzle. He couldn’t get to the correct solution,
D _ S P I _ _ _ V _ L I _ N _ _ R Y
so he lost out on an extra $38,000. I would have given him the money just for the “chilly bugs” guess.
Fri 1-29-21: $54,900
On Jeopardy: $14,001
Craig got one of each letter he chose. That enabled him to take one look at the puzzle and solve it
W I _ _ O U _ _ _ E _ L I G _ _ E _ _ _ E _ I _ A _ I O N
He added $38,000 to the $16,900 win that got him to the bonus round.
