It’s Wheel of Fortune, Shopping Spree Week, and we’re posting the Bonus Puzzle with the winner’s final prize amount. By way of comparison, the Jeopardy! payoff is also included with a link to the recap of that game.

Mon 5-14-18 Wheel: $13,500
On Jeopardy: $4,599

Kristi successfully picked one A and one C and they were right next to each other in the second word. Now we all knew that one but the first 6-letter word was too tough! Only an E in the 5th spot didn’t help Kristi out. It almost seems like these situations alternate. One day, the bottom word’s too tough and next time, it’s the top word. One thing remains fairly constant – no $35,000.

Tue 5-15-18 Wheel: $17,978
On Jeopardy: $31,801

Julie only got three A’s from her letter picks but they looked pretty critical to Pat Sajak. Julie came up with some wild guesses there, even making it into a 4-word puzzle She didn’t win the $35,000 on the card but she sure had a hearty laugh over the whole thing.

Wed 5-16-18 Wheel: $45,350
On Jeopardy: $25,400

Stephen put one A, one F and one C in the bonus puzzle and he got it right off the bat. After a string of “close but no cigar” puzzles, it was particularly nice to see this speedy solve. His $10,350 from the main game was supplemented with $35,000 cash. Way to go!

Thu 5-17-18 Wheel: $53,400
On Jeopardy: $11,799

Elizabeth got one D, two H’s and one I from her letter picks. Once they were turned over, it was a piece of cake. Elizabeth got $35,000 more on top of the $18,400 she won first. Super!

Fri 5-18-18 Wheel: $24,738
On Jeopardy: $100,000

Kayowa got the two letters that she correctly presumed were in there: one G and one I. Unfortunately, they weren’t anywhere else and neither were her other picks so she wasn’t in a good position to solve the puzzle at all. She lost out on a Toyota Highlander SUV.
