Wheel of Fortune: Get Out of Town Week 2018

It’s Wheel of Fortune, Get Out of Town Week, and we’re posting the Bonus Puzzle with the winner’s final prize amount. By way of comparison, the Jeopardy! payoff is also included with a link to the recap of that game.

Mon 5-21-18 Wheel: $49,685
On Jeopardy: $19,644
David on Wheel of Fortune (5-21-2018)
David added a P and two A’s to the bonus puzzle and that was all he needed to know what was On the Map. A Ford Escape SUV worth $28,685 was the cherry on top of the $21,000 he won in the main game.

Tue 5-22-18 Wheel: $45,285
On Jeopardy: $14,789
Casey on Wheel of Fortune (5-22-2018)
Casey scored with all his letter choices: one D, one G, two P’s and an O. That’s rare in itself, right? It resulted in a quick solve, a card reveal and a Ford Escape SUV worth $28,685 being added to his $16,600 winnings in the main game.

Wed 5-23-18 Wheel: $19,800
On Jeopardy: $26,801
James on Wheel of Fortune (5-23-2018)
James successfully picked two P’s, two O’s and one B and it was looking promising. Sadly, the solution was not on James’ menu and neither was the $35,000 bonus prize.

Thu 5-24-18 Wheel: $26,753
On Jeopardy: $19,601
Gretchen on Wheel of Fortune (5-24-2018)
Gretchen got one G out of the letters she picked in a puzzle that only had 2 letters overturned to begin with. Man, that was a tough one! The letters that would have helped are rarely chosen and it’s just a dang shame they were in this puzzle when the prize reveal showed the big one: $100,000.

Fri 5-25-18 Wheel: $15,379
On Jeopardy: $35,201
Carolyn on Wheel of Fortune (5-25-2018)
Carolyn got all her letter choices: an M, an F, a V and an O. That was the second time that happened this week. Unfortunately, none of her picks were in the last word. Indeed, she reacted as though she’d never heard of the last word. Maybe Pat Sajak told her about Perry Como later? First he had to open the card and show her the $35,000 that might have been.
