Wheel of Fortune: Fabulous Florida Week

Here are the bonus puzzles from Wheel of Fortune (April 24 – April 28, 2017), Fabulous Florida Week.

The top prize amounts are listed as well as the top prize amount from the Jeopardy! episode that same day. The puzzle solutions are at the bottom.

Mon 4-24-17 Wheel: $16,500 + 0 On Jeopardy: $24,000
Matt Dimick on Wheel of Fortune (4-24-2017)
Matt Dimick got an M and an O out of his letter choices. They didn’t help him figure out the Bonus Puzzle because he got stuck trying to fit the O and the R into the second word. So he didn’t win a convertible.

Tue 4-25-17 Wheel: $15,425 + 0 On Jeopardy: $12,000
Karl Stahl on Wheel of Fortune (4-25-2017)
Karl Stahl got 2 consonants and his vowel from his picks. That gave him the entire last word and, of course, he knew the second one. He just couldn’t figure out the first word in 10 seconds. “He’s a planner, not a [missing letters]ner,” Pat Sajak quipped before showing him the $34K he didn’t win.

Wed 4-26-17 Wheel: $27,450 + $34,000 On Jeopardy: $28,800
Angel Myers on Wheel of Fortune (4-26-2017)
Angel Myers got 2 consonants in the first word and a vowel in the second from her letter picks. That was just what she needed to figure it out for the first bonus puzzle solve since the 4-14 game.

Thu 4-27-17 Wheel: $16,000 + $34,000 On Jeopardy: $19,600
Karline -Saintus on Wheel of Fortune (4-27-2017)
Karline Saintus got an M from her consonant picks and 4 Os with her vowel. She was getting close to the end when the first word came to her and brought her up to a $50K payday.

Fri 4-28-17 Wheel: $19,868 + $0 On Jeopardy: $24,400
Brandon Holt on Wheel of Fortune (4-27-2017)
Brandon Holt got a D from his consonant picks and filled in 2 spots with his vowel. Pat Sajak’s observation that it was still pretty challenging proved to be correct. Brandon just couldn’t sound out that first word. In The I Almost Won Dept: a convertible. Ouch!
