Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree
“Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” was written by Johnny Marks and recorded by Brenda Lee in 1958. Brenda was 14 years old that year on December 11th. It wasn’t only because she was so tiny (at 4’9″) that she was called little Brenda Lee, but also because she was so young, but she was also called “Little Miss Dynamite” because of her powerful voice and her 1957 song “Dynamite.” Here is Brenda belting it out in 1994, still with that awesome voice in 1994:
