Oprah Sticks to Racism Story on the Red Carpet
At the premiere of her new film,”The Butler,” Oprah said she was sorry that she mentioned the incident in Switzerland where she claimed to be the victim of racism, in spite of the fact that the store owner and the shop girl have spoken with the press overseas and denied that the incident even happened the way Oprah claimed. Oprah chalked it up to the way that she was dressed, making note of the fact that she was not wearing anything to signal her great wealth, but that she did have on her designer clothes, mentioning her Donna Karan skirt once again.
Oprah said that she was just trying to express how racism does appear in her own life, since no one is going to call her the N word, except maybe “twitter thugs.” Evidently, the Big O has never seen the Baracka Flacka Flame “Head of the State” parody. Warning; Very explicit language.
Curiously, Oprah has never addressed the Rae Dawn Chong incident. Must be like the judge tossing out the racial discrimination claim of a white woman suing Paula Deen. She can’t sue Paula for racial discrimination because they are both white. Oprah can’t say Rae Dawn Chong’s remarks are racist because Rae Dawn is part black.
