Matt Samberg won $21,400 on Friday and he’s back today to try to stay champ. He’ll have to beat these two new players: Taylor Norwood, from Dallas, TX and Misha Bushyager, from Baltimore, MD.
Taylor found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “Rolling Stones: Greatest Guitarists.” He was in second place with $1,400, $800 behind Matt and we didn’t even get to the first commercial break yet. Surprisingly, since he was doing quite well in the category, he only bet $1,000 and he was RIGHT.
The Cream didn’t quite rise to the top; this guitarist floated up to No. 2.

Taylor finished in the lead with $4,000. Matt was second with $3,600 and Misha was in the red with minus $1,000.
Matt found the first Double Jeopardy Daily Double in “Hard Times.” He was in second place when he found it with $7,600 but Misha was then awarded a correct answer and she moved into second place with $8,200. Taylor was in the lead with $10,000. Matt bet $2,400 and he was RIGHT.

Matt got the last Daily Double in “The Charles Dickens Bicentennial,” the very last clue. He was now in the lead with $17,600, $6,000 more than Taylor in second place. He bet $5,300. He obviously didn’t know but took a shot with Liverpool and that was WRONG.
This city named for its harbor location re-created the dance at which Elizabeth Dickens’ water broke.

Matt still finished in the lead with $12,300. Taylor was next with $11,600 and Misha was last with $9,000.

Misha doubled her score and finished with $18,000.
Taylor bet $11,590 so he finished with $23,190.
Matt bet $10,901 so he finished with $23,201 and remained champ by a margin of $11.00. His 2-day total is $44,601.
