Our new champ today is Blythe Rodgers who won $13,999 yesterday. Today she takes on these two players: Kimberley Stephenson, from Pasadena, CA and Dan Burke, from Chicago, IL.
Dan found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “Histor’E’.” He was in third place with $1,200, $800 less than Blythe who was in the lead. He made it a truly Daily Double but thought the answer was Ericson. Leif, no doubt, but that was WRONG.
In the 980s, he managed to make Greenland sound pleasant enough to get fellow Icelanders to join him there.

Kimberley finished in the lead with $4,200. Blythe was second with $3,800 and Dan was last with $2,200.
Blythe found the first Double Jeopardy Daily Double in “Constitution Signers by State.” She was in a tie for second place with Kimberly at $8,200, $4,000 less than Dan. She bet $3,000 and she was RIGHT.

Dan found the last Daily Double in “Canterbury Tales Tellers.” He had $13,400, $2,200 more than Blythe now in second place by herself. He bet $2,000, and said it was the priest. That was WRONG.

Blythe finished in the lead with $14,800. Dan was next with $13,400 and Kimberley was in third place with $8,200.

David had a whole passel of wives but the only one who shared a name with two American First Ladies was Abigail. Her story is told is 1 Samuel 25.
Abigail Smith Adams was the wife of John Adams, the second President of the United States.
Abigail Powers Fillmore was the first wife of the 14th President, Millard Fillmore. She died of pneumonia just a couple of weeks after her husband left office.
There have been 2 First Ladies named Martha; 2 named Julia, 2 named Edith and 3 named Elizabeth.
Kimberley doubled her money to finish with $16,400.
Dan bet everything but two dollars, so he finished with $26,798.
Blythe bet $5,200 so she finished with $20,000.
There were a few hiccups for Dan Burke during the game, but the finish turned out fine!
