The Final Jeopardy question (1/19/2012) in the category “Sports & The Movies” was:

Current champ Amy Stephenson came back today to try to add some more to her $32,799 2-day haul. These contestants were on hand to try to prevent that: Naved Sheikh from New York, NY, and Lynn Hammerlund from Lake in the Hills, IL.
Lynn found the Daily Double in the Jeopardy! round in the category “Inlets.” She had $2,400, a $1,000 less than Amy who was in the lead. She bet $1,000 and she was RIGHT.

It was tight contest between Amy and Lynn, until the last category “Foreign.” Lynn dominated it and finished this round in the lead with $8,800. Amy was second with $5,200 and Naved was last with $1,800.
In Double Jeopardy, Naved picked “American History” for $1,200 and it was the first Daily Double! Rather than go for the $2,000 allowance, he decided on $1,800. He didn’t mind taking a chance of starting over again from zero, but he didn’t want to go in the hole. He was RIGHT.

Lynn got the last Daily Double in “4 N.” She was in the lead with $9,600 but not by a wide margin anymore– she only had $400 more than Naved. She bet $2,400. You could see she totally knew it since Lynn left her poker face at home. She was RIGHT.

This round was tight, too, but between Lynn and Naved. Lynn still finished in the lead with $13,200. Naved was next with $11,200 and Amy was last with $5,600.
TWO contestants got the Final Jeopardy question right.
WHAT IS WRIGLEY FIELD?
The home ballpark of the Chicago Cubs since 1916, Wrigley Field was built in 1914 as Weeghman Park for the Chicago Federal League baseball team, the Chicago Whales. It was called Cubs Park between 1920 and 1926 before being renamed for then Cubs team owner and chewing gum magnate, William Wrigley, Jr.
Amy got it right after crossing out “Cook Count.” She bet $4,000 and ended with $9,600.
Naved wrote down “What is Camiskey Pk,” which is located at 324 West 35th St. in Chicago. His dollar bet didn’t do much damage. He ended with $11,199.
Lynn got it right, as we knew she would when we saw that great big smile during the Final Jeopardy! music. She won the game with $22,500. Way to go, Lynn!
