George, Leo and Ruben are the main dads. They are dealing with the biggest problems this season. George’s daughters have left the nest. Amy moved in with her baby daddy, Ricky. Ashley went on a cross-country trek with her study buddy. The children of Leo and Ruben just got married, right before their baby was due, only to suffer the heartbreak of losing the baby. All of them are wrestling with their own relationship problems.

Dr. Fields is usually too busy trying to help other people work their problems out in therapy to deal with any of his own. Vic Volberg is the elderly pop of Grant. Pop pops up now and then to deliver senior citizen wisdom.
