Outraged Joy Behar Walks Off ‘The View’ Joined by Whoopi

Joy Behar walked off the set of “The View” and Whoopi Goldberg got up and joined her in the midst of a heated debate with that obnoxious conservative, Bill O’Reilly, who was expounding upon his views against Park 51, the Muslim community centre to be built near Ground Zero in New York.

Just a little bit before she actually got up and stalked off, O’Reilly wouldn’t let Joy Behar talk and she tried to make a joke of that. He condescendingly told Joy “listen to me because you’ll learn.” Joy put her fingers behind his head in the bunny ears gesture and said “pinhead,” a reference to his book “Pinheads and Patriots.”

O’Reilly then began to expound upon why he believes President Barack Obama is out of touch with Americans.

“The mosque down here on 9/11 — that’s inappropriate,” the Fox News blowhard said, explaining to the ladies on the View (as if they were little children) that the project is an affront because it’s close to the site of the 9/11 attacks.

“Sure, they have a right to do it in the constitution, but it’s inappropriate because a lot of the 9/11 families, who I know, say ‘Look, we don’t want that,'” O’Reilly said.

Whoopi Goldberg then questioned his assertions: “Are you saying that Americans are too stupid to know freedom of religion is in the constitution?” O’Reilly’s rebuttal was that most Americans oppose the project. Behar and Goldberg challenged his stance that 70 per cent of Americans oppose the Muslim centre, but O’Reilly talked over them, saying Obama should move against the project “because Muslims killed us on 9/11.”

He did not even acknowledge Whoopi’s comments that some of those killed in the 9/11 tragedy were Muslims. Whoopi also observed that the Muslims behind Park 51 project were not the same ones responsible for the 9/11 attacks, but O’Reilly wasn’t hearing it.

“Muslims didn’t kill us on 9/11? That’s what you’re saying?” O’Reilly said.

Behar said “I don’t want to sit here now” and she and Goldberg walked off the set.

Barbara Walters, The View big cheese was appalled: “You have just seen what should not happen,” Walters said. “We should be able to have discussions without washing our hands and screaming and walking offstage. I love my colleagues, but that should not have happened.”

Well, unlike you, Barbara, Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar are comedians, Barbara. You knew that from the gate, so it’s not like if you walked off beause you’re the real reporter, right?

Besides, Joy Behar does this on her show all the time. If someone doesn’t agree with her, she cuts them off dead. We can hear Joy Behar already telling everyone how “annoying” Bill Reilly is on her show.
