How Well Do You Know 90s Music?

Seven songs were played for a group of teen in this 2015 video from React’s youtube channel and they were asked to identify the song and artist if they could.

The teens had varying degrees of success, but they probably more did better than us — 90s music isn’t exactly our field of expertise. Nevertheless, we found some clues to help you out:

4. Original release: 1995. Won 1995 Grammy for Best Rap Solo Performance. 2014 cover by Falling in Reverse

5. Original Release: 1995. Most weeks (16) at No. 1 on Billboard. American Idol Top 7 (Season 7 – 2008)

6. Original Release 1997. Best British Single – 1998 Brit Awards. Julianne Hough (Lip Sync Battle Live in Central Park 7/13/15)

7. Original Release: 1999. Viewers Choice Award, 1999 MTV Video Music Awards. 2013 Cover Glee cast – (mashup with “Bye Bye Bye”)
