Ron King became the new champ yesterday with winnings of $13,601. Today he takes on these two players: Stephanie Fontaine, from Arlington, VA and  Chris Sullivan, from Traverse City, MI.

Chris found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “Stock Symbols.” He was in last place with $2,200, $800 behind Ron in the lead. He bet $1,000 and he was RIGHT.

Ron finished in the lead with $6,000. Chris was second with $5,200 and Stephanie was last with $4,600.

Chris found the first Double Jeopardy Daily Double in “‘O’ My.” He was in second place with $6,800, $200 less than Stephanie in the lead. He bet $2,000 but could not come up with a reply so he was WRONG.

Chris got the last Daily Double, the very last clue, in “Shakespeare, Shakespeare, Fight, Fight, Fight.” He was still in third place with $7,200, $5,400 behind Stephanie who held the lead. He bet $1,000, took a guess with “King Lear” and that was WRONG.

Stephanie finished in the lead with $12,600. Ron was next with $10,000 and Chris now had $6,200.

WHAT IS NEW YORK?

According to it 2011 statistics, out of a population of over 8 million people in New York City, the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles says that only 11,210,784 have drivers licenses. In the rest of New York, there are 7,860,550 licensed drivers out of a population of over 11 million.

The Federal Highway Administration says that Indiana has the most licensed drivers per 1,000 residents.

Chris bet $1,000. He finished with $7,200.

Ron bet $2,401, finishing with $12,401.

Stephanie bet $100 so she finished with $12,700 and won the game.

Pretty wild when you think either Chris and Ron could have totally won if they had made large bets! However, Stephanie played very well and that would have been the real pity.
