Alex just could not resist commenting that Laura’s last name means “ham” in French. Laura told a tale of how her pet pygmy goat, Billy, met his demise after consuming a bag of Quikcrete. When Alex inquired into whether it was a 60 lb. or 80 lb. bag, Laura exclaimed, “Alex, you’re being insensitive!” Alex found that so amusing he couldn’t even talk to A.J.

A.J. found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “Gay Paree.” He was in second place with $2,800, $800 less than Laura in the lead. He bet $800 and he was RIGHT.

In his 52 B.C. “commentaries”, he wrote that the Parisii burned their town rather than surrender to him. show

A.J. finished in the lead with $5,200. Laura was second with $5,000 and Tracey was last with $2,400.

A.J. found the first Double Jeopardy Daily Double in “Tell-Tale Heart.” By now, he had taken a leviathan lead and had $17,600, $10,600 more than Laura in second place. We didn’t expect him to make a big bet and he didn’t disappoint us. He wagered $1,600 and he was RIGHT.

Laura found the last Daily Double in “How Novel!”. She had $8,600, $11,800 less than A.J. She bravely made it a true Daily Double and she was RIGHT.

A.J. finished in the lead with $22,400. Laura was very much a contender with $17,600 and Tracey was in third place with $1,200.
