WHO IS SHANIA TWAIN?

The album in question is “Come On Over.” Its sales in the USA only account for about half of its world-wide sales.

Shania Twain began singing at the age of 8 in Timmons, Ontario under tough circumstances for such a young child. Then known as “Eileen,” she was helping her mother make ends meet, “often earning twenty dollars between midnight and one in the morning performing for remaining customers after the bar had finished serving.” (wikipedia)

Everyone wrote down Celine Dion. She made her first public appearance at the age of 5 at her brother Michel’s wedding, performing “Du fil des aiguilles et du coton.”

Stu lost $10,799. He finished with $1.00.

David lost $2,500, finishing with $15,900.

Kathy lost $16,800 and the championship when she ended up with $3,200. So much for our Tournament of Champions predictions.

David is the new champ and will return to finish out the week tomorrow.
