Adam finished in the lead with $4,600. Salvo and Ryan were tied in second place with $3,200. Salvo got to go first in Double Jeopardy!

Adam found the first Double Jeopardy Daily Double in “Defense Abbrev.” He was in the lead with $15,000, $1,800 more than Ryan in second place. He bet $3,000 and he was RIGHT.

Ryan found the last Daily Double in “Ballet.” He was in second place with $17,600, $1,200 behind Adam’s lead. He bet $2,000 and he was RIGHT.

Ryan finished in the lead with $19,600. Adam was next with $16,800 and Salvo was in third place with $3,200.

Salvo got it and doubled his score to $6,400.

Adam also got it and bet $10,300, finishing with $27,100.

Ryan wrote down “South Pacific.” He bet $14,100 so he ended up with $5,500 and Adam Holquist is our new Jeopardy! champ.

So we say so long to Salvo, but let’s put him on the 2014 TOC list. What an up and down game. It initially looked like Adam was going to have a runaway, but Ryan did a spectacular job of catching up and taking over the lead, then Final Jeopardy! did him in.
