Tom finished in the lead with $5,400. Kris was second with $4,800 and Beth was last with $2,000.
Tom found the first Double Jeopardy Daily Double in “Son of ….” He had $7,800, a $2,600 lead over Kris in second place. He bet $3,000, guessed “Mc” and that was WRONG.
This common Irish prefix comes from the French for son.
Kris found the last Daily Double in “Novel T’s.” He was now in the lead with $12,800, $3,600 more than Tom in second place. He bet $2,000, and came up with “Tuesdays with Morrie.” That was WRONG.

Kris finished in the lead with $12,400. Tom was next with $10,400 and Beth was in third place with $2,800.
